Worx Finish uses a proprietary chemical process that changes the makeup of the titanium’s surface at an atomic level. The surface hardness on Works Finish eeWings is three times harder than untreated eeWings.  This is not a PVD coating like TiN (Titanium Nitride) or TiAlN / AlTiN (Titanium Aluminum Nitride), in fact, Worx Finish isn’t a coating at all. Worx Finish doesn’t crack or delaminate. However, a hard enough rock-strike will penetrate the surface.
