Worx Edition uses a proprietary chemical process that changes the makeup of the titanium’s surface on an atomic level. It’s not a plating or coating of any kind; the Worx finish is integral to the base metal, so it won’t flake or peel. This skin is incredibly hard — 10 times harder than titanium itself — which gives the eeWings scratch and wear resistance comparable to the titanium-nitride coating used on drill bits and machine tools.
